Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored by a browser when a website is visited. Similar technologies may include pixels, tags, and local storage. They can be set by the website itself or by third-party services.

Current Cookie and Tracking Setup

As of November 3, 2026, The Digital Lab’s publisher reports that the site does not have Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, another optional analytics or advertising tracker, or a consent-management platform installed. The site also does not currently use accounts, forms, newsletter subscriptions, or public comments.

The hosting platform, WordPress, or security functions may still use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar technologies to deliver pages, protect the site, or maintain basic operation. The exact technical cookies may depend on the hosting and WordPress configuration.

Cookies That May Be Used in the Future

If analytics, advertising, or affiliate tools are added, they may use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • Analytics and performance: understanding site visits and page performance.
  • Advertising: delivering, measuring, or personalizing ads, including Google AdSense ads if the service is activated.
  • Affiliate attribution: recording that a visitor followed a referral link from this Website.

Before enabling new optional tracking tools, The Digital Lab will update this policy and implement consent or preference choices where required by applicable law and provider policies.

Your Choices

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site functions. Browser settings do not necessarily provide all choices available under applicable privacy laws.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If Google AdSense personalized ads are served to people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google requires publishers to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The Digital Lab does not currently have a consent-management platform installed. It will select and configure an appropriate certified CMP before serving such ads where required. Consent requirements and provider policies may change.

Third-Party Services

When you follow an affiliate link, a retailer or affiliate network may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Third-party services control their own practices. Review the provider’s privacy and cookie notices for details.
